Vilamoura – Part of Central Algarve
Vilamoura is of the sixteen municipalities present in Algarve, the southernmost region of Portugal. It is one of the most exclusive spots in the Algarve that is known for golf recreation resorts, several historic places like Cross Course and Cerro da villa. Also in the middle is The Marina that has the capacity to hold around 1000 vessels. There are several casinos and pubs where you can let your hair down, and along with it there are plenty of sports options available.
Vilamoura , the beautiful town in the Algarve region is spread over an area of around two thousand hectares and is considered to be one of the beautiful and largest tourist resorts in Europe. A town that many things to offer for various kinds of visitors to this place, it has great structure for carrying out commercial activities, and also there are several clubs and discos for lnight activities. People who want to try their hand at Golf can enjoy the various Golf courses in Vilamoura like the Millenium which is an eighteen hole course, the Laguna that is a challenging course with three loops of nine holes, the Pinhal, a beautiful golf vilamoura course in the middle of pine wood and yes the Old course, which as the name suggests is the oldest golf course of Vilamoura town. Other sports activities that can be done over here are jet skiing and parascending.
Another beautiful place to visit in Vilamoura is Cerro da villa, a beautiful Museum and Archaeological site, where the Romans settled first during the 1st A.D. This site is open for the visitors daily between 10 am and 1 pm. There is a large shopping mall in Vilamoura from where visitora and locals often meet to get contemporary and traditional clothes along with many other accessories.
Vilamoura is extremelly well known for its golden beaches; one of it is the Falesia with orange colored cliffs, the others are Olhos de Agua and the Vilamoura beach. The most famous part of Vilamoura, The Marina, in fact is very large and is the berth place of many beautiful and enormous vessels. There are some spectacular sand beaches on either side of the Marina, where one can enjoy sun bath or hang out in one of the several cafes and bars that are present here.
There are various three star as well five star hotels Vilamoura in this region where you can stay during your visit to this place. Loule, the commercial city is located in the North East of Vilamoura. This place, is an opulent town, where a lot commercial activities take place.
A day spent at Vilamoura leaves you with the feeling of being on the top of the world. The more you will get to know about this place the more you will fall in love with this place. A visit to Vilamoura will make such a positive impact on you that you may decide to buy a property in here for living.
